Review: Zingerman’s Deli, Ann Arbor, MI
5 out of 5
I finally checked something off my list of things to do while living in Ann Arbor. I went to Zingerman’s Deli after hearing how amazing it was from quite a few people. The menu is a bit overwhelming on your first trip, but there was a bit of a line which gave me time to pick out a turkey/avocado/tomato/russian dressing concoction.
Everyone was overly nice, obviously a job requirement, but it wasn’t annoying. I just don’t know how they do it. To work in food preperation AND be that nice seems impossible. They must go home and shoot babies at night for balance.
My sandwich ended up costing me $12 which is crazy, but it’s a very famous little deli and they do use the best ingredients so I was willing to put that aside, but in my mind I was definitely gonna grade the sandwich based on it’s price tag.
The sandwich is now gone. One of the best I’ve ever had. Worth all 1,200 pennies.
